Zimbabwe, Victoria Falls

Day 325

Victoria Falls, a view from Zimbabwe's side this time. And if to come to this area - it is worth to have a look at this special attraction from both sides - Zambia and Zimbabwe. Otherwise the picture is still incomplete.

And a decent overview could be achieved probably only on board of a helicopter flying just above the waterfall, but I missed it. Instead I found from the display an aerial photo, which gives a pretty good overview of the 1.7 km long magnificent sight.

This rain forest by the Waterfall is indeed the most genuine one, as it is raining here whatever the weather.

And there is no clear picture, because all the places are full of water spray.

Leaving the place I found this kind of a poster. Anyway, my first impressions of Zimbabwe are very positive.

Next - to the craft market.

Repealed Zimbabwean currency, which was offered with an exchange rate of 1 USD = 1 Zimbabwe note.

This is probably the world's lowest-value note. 1 Zimbabwe Dollar. Zimbabwe dollar was valid up to 12 April 2009. Currently, different currencies - U.S. dollar, Botswana pula, Pound Sterling and South African rand (info from Wikipedia) are in use. And euro is used as well.
