And Cape Town it is. Coming here by car it took me 371 days and 41.000 kilometres were covered.

Cape Town is different, as if it were not real Africa. Africa as such is usually associated with villages and towns of quite different looks.

The Good Hope Cape is located south of the town



For Europeans the Cape was discovered by Bartolomeu Dias and at first he called it The Cape of Storms. Later it was renamed the Cape of Good Hope as the long search of the road to east - to India - was found.

Immediately next there is another cape – called Cape Point, and it appears to be a place visited by almost every tourist while in Cape Town. At least – this was the impression as the parking lot was full of cars and tourist buses were coming and going constantly.


The highest accessible point was crowded.ˇ
